    Vintage overnight/weekend suitcase. Dates from 30s and as can be seen was originally owned by W A SURFLEET. FX98084 would have been his service number. The FX indicates he was in the Fleet Air Arm

People for centuries have been buying, selling and passing on items that are collectable, decorative or of household use and are valued because of their age, rather than throw them away .Despite this some items may be damaged or have gone out of fashion as we move through this modern age of development and technology at a very fast pace.

    The business aim of WeLoveItShop:
    is to make use of and upcycle antique,
    vintage and Retro items that have lost their sparkle or are out of vogue/trend. Through this process (marrying the contemporary with items from times past) we can design and produce bespoke and one-off furniture pieces/items. By doing this we are keeping items out of the ever growing problem of the waste cycle and associated environmental issues.

    As with all our vintage pieces there are no two the same!

    We are also delighted to provide as much help and information as we can, including further pictures of items where you have serious interest, but would just like to make absolutely certain prior to commiting to buy.

    We will also list some items that we have not yet worked on, so that you might like to aquire them and put your passions, interests, flair (and alot of love!) into them yoursleves., either as a one off project or, perhaps, the start of something you might grow into your own business. Enquires to this end are welcomed.

    Delivery Details:
    Delivery to UK only. Non UK buyers please get in touch for a quote. If you are in the Nottinghamshires area and would prefer to collect please get in touch.

    Refunds and Exchanges:
    If you are not happy with your item please contact us directly and return the item within 3 days after delivery. Once the item has been received by us in perfect unused condition we will then refund within 14 days. We are unable to refund any return postage and packaging costs involved unless the item is faulty for the UK and we are unable to refund any postage internationally unless the item is faulty.
    Iems retruned from anywhere as faulty, and found not to be will be returned to the buyer at the buyer expense.

    Bespoke products are non -refundable unless faulty.

    Custom orders require a deposit to be paid prior to work commencing . Full payment for custom orders must be completed prior to delivery otherwise the courier will not deliver. We will not be responsible for a repeat delivery courier cost if this should happen.

    It is not possible to cancel custom orders once work has commenced and full payment is required in such circumstances.

    Custom orders vary in production time and every effort will be made to keep you updated on the progress of your order. Dispatch dates are given as estimation but these may vary. The Courier runs regular routes at regular intervals (Weekly, Two Weekly & Three Weekly, Generally). We will ensure to confirm prior to dispatch the day to expect your delivery, and the drivers will do their best to inform you, on Route, of progress.

    All items are delivered to your Etsy address. If this address is not correct, please Contact us with the correct information.

    The shipping rate is set to £0.00 as courier costs vary depending on your location. Please message us with your postcode for a no obligation quote if you are interested in an item. Mainland UK delivery only. Courier charges vary from £30-£90 on average depending on your locality and size of the item. The Courier Service must be viewed as a ‘One Man’ Service. This means you must arrange to off-load your order and move it to where you want it. The Drivers are happy to help where they can, however to keep costs down, they are multi-drop and must get off to their next delivery. Any requirements outside of the ‘One Man’ service must be notified and agreed prior to your shipment leaving us.

    Turnaround Times:
    Although we make every effort to deliver as soon as possible we use a third party courier service and delivery may take longer during busy periods. The delivery times given are estimations but we endeavour to deliver as soon as possible. The courier should contact you to arrange a delivery time that suits.

    We do not have any responsibility for issues with delivery once the item has been dispatched. These issues must be dealt with between the customer and the courier directly. Your dispatch notification indicates that your item has left us and any further arrangements need to be made via the courier directly. Customers are welcome to organise their own courier if they so wish.

    Refunds and Exchanges
    Please contact us within 3 days (from delivery) if you are not happy with a purchase. If you do not items are non-refundable.

    Custom orders are non-refundable.

    If you can’t find exactly what you had in mind please contact us as we may have something suitable that we are currently working on, or still to start. Please contact us with any queries and we will respond as quickly as we can.

    Please be aware that as the pieces reclaimed are of (substantial) age, their condition is not “faultless” or mass produced in appearance. They bear hallmarks of their age and this is part if their charm. If you are unsure about an item please contact us for more images prior to purchase.

    Where decals are used they are for decorative purposes and may peel or come away from furniture over time. We do not offer any compensation or repairs for decals. These items are most suited to “low traffic” areas in the home. In the rare occurrence something like this happens, think of it as an opportunity to add ‘your own thing’ to the item….Get Creative yourself?!!

    Once a custom order design has been agreed by messaging the customer does not reserve the right to make further changes without the possibility of further cost. The customer will be notified of such costs prior to any amendments. Custom orders are non-refundable.
